Sales agents
Smoke alarm compliance that never holds up a settlement.
A seller in Queensland must declare compliant interconnected alarms on the contract. We check for $99, upgrade at fixed prices, and give your buyer a reason to remember your agency.
Vogue provides Queensland sales agents with $99 pre-sale smoke alarm compliance checks, fixed-price upgrades from $295 per home, and a same-day certificate for the contract pack, across Ipswich, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Toowoomba and the Sunshine Coast.
Why it matters at contract stage
Since 1 January 2022 a Queensland dwelling sold must have interconnected photoelectric alarms installed before settlement, and the seller declares compliance on the Form 24. A non-compliant home found late means a rushed install, a delayed settlement, or a price adjustment at the table.
A $99 check in the listing week removes that risk. If the property passes, you get a certificate for the contract. If it fails, you get a fixed price to fix it before the first open home.

Common questions
Does a house have to have compliant smoke alarms to be sold in Queensland?
Yes. Since 1 January 2022 a dwelling sold in Queensland must have interconnected photoelectric smoke alarms installed before settlement, and the seller declares compliance on the Form 24 transfer document.
How much is a pre-sale smoke alarm compliance check?
$99, including GST. We inspect every alarm against the Queensland placement and interconnection rules and issue either a written compliance certificate for the contract pack or a fixed-price upgrade quote.
How quickly can you attend?
Usually within the week, and we work in around photography and open homes. Tell us the listing date and we schedule before it.
Who pays, the vendor or the agency?
Either. We can invoice the vendor directly or run it through the agency's marketing account.
What is the post-sale Premium upgrade?
When the buyer signs up to a Vogue maintenance plan after settlement, we upgrade the Basic Lucci system to an Emerald EVO hardwired 240V system with wall controller and app for a reduced per-bedroom price from $139. Agencies use it as a settlement gift.
