How much does split system air conditioning cost to install in Brisbane or Ipswich?
It depends on the unit size, the brand and how far the outdoor unit sits from the indoor unit. We measure the room and quote in writing, at no charge, before any work starts. Supply-and-install and install-only options are both available.
Split system or ducted?
A split system suits one room or an open living area and is the cheaper install. Ducted suits a whole house, especially new builds and renovations, and lets you zone rooms so you only cool what you are using. We will tell you which fits your house and budget after a site visit.
What size air conditioner do I need?
Roughly 2.5kW for a bedroom, 3.5 to 5kW for a living area, and 7kW or more for large open-plan rooms, adjusted for ceiling height, window orientation and insulation. An undersized unit runs flat out and fails early; an oversized unit short-cycles and never dehumidifies. Our free sizing calculator gives you the kW range for your room; we confirm it on site.
Do I need a licensed installer?
Yes. In Australia handling refrigerant requires an ARCtick licence and the electrical connection requires a licensed electrician. Vogue holds both: ARCtick L155380 | AU51678 and QLD Electrical Contractor Licence 81907.
How often should an air conditioner be serviced?
A basic clean of the indoor unit filters and covers once a year keeps efficiency up and keeps the manufacturer's warranty valid. Our full home maintenance plan includes one basic clean a year and unlimited standard AC service calls.
Which brands do you install?
Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Fujitsu, Panasonic and other major brands. We recommend based on the room, the budget and parts availability in South East Queensland.
